Most Packable Lightweight Running Jacket Ever?
It's Salomon but I don't know its name. I also know it will be £80 and released in January 2013. This must be right up their with the most packable and lightweight jackets ever made. It even works! It has climawind to keep the chill out and DWR layer to help in light rain conditions. It even kept me warm 2000m high in the pyrenees. Before I put it on a seriously doubted whether it would actually do anything, I was wrong.

get me the name! I want that. Late Christmas present to myself :-)
ReplyDelete2nd that. Been looking for something like this since seeing Julien Chorier wear what I think was this exact jacket at mt fuji ultra? £80 is reasonable if it does the job. Presuming its not a winter item and more transitional weather
ReplyDeleteI thought this was the one that they just made for Kilian et al... I guess the sense was the same though. Glad they are bringing it to the masses. Do you know the weight?
ReplyDeleteI think its 80gr for Mens Medium. Yeah transitional piece for sure but Im a t-shirt guy even in winter as long as its fast run session. This just gives me that little extra layer without adding any significant weight. You don't even need a zipped pocket like a have used. If you have an elastic band you can just scrunch it up into the smallest bundle possible, wrap the band and put it anywhere
ReplyDeleteAwesome! looks ridiculosly light. Can I use it as a Kite too?
